What’s Happening?

All Miller Pipeline employees will not have access from 6:00 p.m. ET Friday, May 12th, through 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 14th, as we are switching our domain servers.

The following programs you will NOT have access to:

  • Email (Microsoft Outlook – either on your mobile phone or on your desktop/laptop computer)
  • WINS Supervisor Portal
  • SharePoint, OneDrive, VPN,
  • Share Drives (i.e., H:\, S:\ or M:\ drive), or Microsoft Teams

What to Expect?

Starting at 6:00 PM EST Friday, May 12th, through 6 PM EST on Sunday, May 14th, you will not have access to your Miller Pipeline account. On the morning of Monday, May 15th, you will log in to your device and have to reconfigure our Microsoft Outlook to access your email. Please review the next section in great detail.

What to do?

BEFORE 6:00 PM EST on Friday, May 12

All Miller Pipeline users will not have access starting Friday, May 12th at 6:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 14th ET.

  1. Before 6:00 p.m., all important information needs to be submitted for the week of May 8 – 12. This consists of any outstanding or time-sensitive emails, WINS daily entries, WINS supervisor approvals, billing, etc.
  2. FOR ALL FOREMEN: Drop off your laptops with a note of your Login ID and password to a main office near you.

AFTER 6:00 PM EST on Sunday, May 14th

  • When you log in Monday morning, May 15, you will need to reconfigure your email on all of your devices. There is a how-to guide to reference below:

  • Other actions that will need to happen after the server switch:
    • Email Autofill – When you go to add a recipient to an email, any emails that autofill in Microsoft Outlook will no longer work. Delete all Autofill emails as the emails will not deliver and return to you.
    • SharePoint accounts – SharePoint accounts that customers have created using your Miller Pipeline email address will NOT function. The customer will need to recreate those accounts for us after the completion of the migration.
    • Email Signature Configuration – Email signatures will no longer appear; every employee will need to add their email signatures in Outlook to the brand standards. Please follow the directions provided here <attached to the email or add a doc to landing page>
    • Recurring Outlook Calendar Meetings – If you have reoccurring meetings in your Outlook Calendar, you will need to delete and send a new invite to the same participants again. When recreating the new meeting, put “UPDATED” in the subject line so participants use the correct meeting link.
    • Microsoft Teams Invites – If you received invites to join other Microsoft Teams tenants in the past, those items will no longer work. The person who invited you in the past will need to send out a new invite for you to be able to access it.

What will Change?

The Miller Pipeline account will be on a different server. After the switch and all actions are complete, all Miller Pipeline employees will have access to Microsoft 365 and one account to access calendars, Teams chat, and more across the company. I.e., A Miller Pipeline superintendent can search for and reach a superintendent from KS Energy through Microsoft Teams.
