A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary. It is a forum where people who read the commentary can post their own comments as well. Our CEO, Doug Banning, will periodically blog to provide employees with insight to our company and management, information about our markets and customers, and celebrate all of our accomplishments throughout the year. Click here to check out his first blog. You are encouraged to post any comments you may have. Just scroll to the bottom of the blog, click comments and type in your reply.

“So far my experience here has been great,” said Mark Bender, Miller’s new HR Director. “Employees have welcomed me with open arms.”
Mark comes to us as the former HR Manager of Diamond Chain Company and has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. He will graduate with his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in September.
One of the issues Mark is going to focus his efforts on improving first is our recruitment process. “We need to make Miller Pipeline a preferred place of employment for the next generation by creating Employment Branding at Miller,” he said. “As our workforce gets older and begins to retire, we need to be attracting younger workers to the industry.” He intends to develop recruiting tools and a recruiting program that can be administered across the company.
“I am excited to be here and look forward to getting to know everyone. Please feel free to call me with questions, suggestions, concerns or just to say hello.” Mark can be reached at (317) 293-0271 ext 160.
